Daniel Marc, Director at Deaf Reach, was recently invited to share his expertise and valuable knowledge about Deaf culture and Pakistan Sign Language at Schola Nova School, Islamabad. The young scholars had plenty of questions and gained fresh insight into the challenges faced by the Deaf community and the unique steps taken by Deaf Reach to promote inclusion and accessibility.
Schola Nova is one of the few hearing schools in Pakistan to offer Sign Language as a subject for students. This wonderful initiative is an excellent way for youth to understand the diversity in their communities, building bridges across cultures.
